You can drive through accessible indoor areas, talk, and start laser or wand play from your phone. Buddy is a way to interact while you are away, not a treatment for separation anxiety or a substitute for in-person care.
02 How is OnlyPet different from a fixed pet camera?
A fixed pet camera watches one spot and waits. OnlyPet Buddy drives to your cat so you can talk and start laser or wand play. Same $199 robot you see on this page, core play has no subscription.
03 Do I need a subscription?
No for core play: drive, talk, laser, and wand. Last 3 days of clips are free. Longer cloud is optional. You are not paying Furbo-style monthly fees to play.
04 Will my cat be scared of the robot?
Some cats watch first, then play. Short sessions with the wand or laser help. Every cat is different. 30-day returns if she never warms up.
05 What if my cat doesn't play with it?
Cats respond differently. Start with Buddy switched off and let your cat approach at their own pace. If it is not a good fit, you may request a return within 30 days after delivery, including after reasonable indoor trial use. Return it clean and complete. Customers cover return shipping for a change of mind or a cat who is not interested. See our Return Policy for full details.
06 What's the return policy?
Request a return within 30 days after delivery. You may open, set up, and reasonably try Buddy indoors. Return it clean and complete, with no restocking fee for an eligible return. OnlyPet covers approved return shipping for defective, damaged, or incorrect items. For a change of mind or a cat who is not interested, you cover return shipping. 07 Does it need Wi-Fi?
Yes, for driving, talking, and live view. It works on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. No Wi-Fi, no remote play.
08 Who can see the video?
You. And only people you invite. We don't sell your videos. They're stored in the United States and encrypted in transit. You can turn off live view, local recording, and cloud recording anytime. If the app asks for location, that's just so it can find Buddy on your Wi-Fi, not to track your family.
